What is Acne & Pimples?

Acne & Pimples – Ayurvedic treatment at Pure Aushadhi

Acne develops when pores get blocked with oil and dead skin and bacteria cause inflammation. It ranges from blackheads and small pimples to painful cysts along the jawline, chest and back. Hormonal changes, PCOD, stress, diet and the wrong skincare products all play a part.

Creams and antibiotics treat the surface, which is why pimples often come back. We look at the pattern — period-related breakouts, gut issues, oily or dry skin — and treat the cause internally while keeping the skin calm externally.

The Ayurvedic view — Yuvan Pidika / Mukhadushika

Ayurveda calls acne Yuvan Pidika or Mukhadushika — eruptions of youth. Kapha blocks the pores, Vata causes the hardness of the eruption and Pitta with impure Rakta creates redness and pus. Treatment balances these through blood purification, digestion and correct skincare.

Diet correction, gentle herbal face pack and a short course of blood-purifying herbs.

2

Moderate

Frequent red, pus-filled pimples with marks.

Our approach

Internal Rakta-shodhak and digestive medicines, plus targeted lepas for inflamed areas.

3

Severe / Cystic
